June 22nd marks the 25th anniversary of the landmark Olmstead v. L.C. Supreme Court decision. The ruling in this case established that unjustified segregation of people with disabilities is a form of discrimination that violates Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The decision also affirmed the right of people with disabilities to live and receive services in the most integrated and least restrictive settings possible.
