Support groups such as Coastal Empire Polio Survivors Association, Inc. (CEPSA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been helping polio survivors since 1997 face the unexpected and often disabling symptoms of “The Late Effects of Polio,” Post-Polio Syndrome (PPS).We mail and e-mail over 150 monthly newsletters to polio survivors, sponsors, and interested individuals throughout the Southeast. Our goal is to promote public awareness of polio, Post-Polio Syndrome, global polio eradication, immunizations, local accessibility issues, and to let the world know “WE’RE STILL HERE!”  http://www.coastalempirepoliosurvivors.org/

2011 Community Resource Guide for Families
This support group includes after school care, tutoring and homework assistance programs, counseling, disability resources, emergency assistance services, employment services, family support, financial assistance, health information, legal services, medical services, dental care, prescription assistance, therapeutic services, transportation, plus many more community based resources for families.

Grey Matters Brain Injury Support Group is an affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of Georgia.  This program is for acquired and traumatic brain injury survivors, family members and caregivers.  The support group meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month beginning January 16th, 2019.
