The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism is hosting a monthly Lunchtime Learning Series. Bring your lunch and we will provide drinks and dessert. Each month we will have a speaker discussing a different topic. Please RSVP. Seating is limited. All meetings will be held at the Savannah Botanical Garden on Eisenhower Drive in Savannah.

The Big IDEA! What’s the Big IDEA Behind Inclusion? — Learn about inclusion and its benefits. Understand how you can use the IDEA requirement to educate children in their least restrictive environment as a springboard to having children with disabilities learn with their peers.

Where Do We Go From Here? Preparing for Transition from High School — Learn the keys to successful transition, the role of the school in transition planning and things to consider when planning your child’s transition to adulthood.

Wed. June 19

Transition to Adult Healthcare — Learn what health has to do with transition; who makes up the transition team and their roles, how to incorporate health transition into a medical home, healthcare financing, legal issues and timelines.

All meetings will be presented by Parent to Parent of Georgia
