Description:
LIFE’s Beyond the Ballot: Voter Education & Empowerment event will be held during Disability Voting Rights Week.
This nonpartisan event will help people with disabilities, families, allies, and community members learn more about voting, disability voting rights and accessibility, and civic engagement.
The event is organized around three areas:
Know How to Vote – Voter registration, deadlines, voting options, and election information
Know Your Rights – Disability voting rights, accessible voting, and addressing barriers
Know Your Power – Disability civic engagement, self-advocacy, and using our voices beyond Election Day
