Information Forum from iCanConnect

Forwarded from the iCanConnect/GA Program of the Georgia Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing:

Dear Educators, Counselors, Parent Advocates, and Others Interested:
The iCanConnect/GA Program of the Georgia Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (GCDHH) is hosting our 2nd information forum to explain to you, educators, counselors and parents, about various telecommunications equipment options we provide free to the consumers who qualify. This income-based Program assists individuals (English and Spanish speaking) to become or remain independent contributors to the community’s society mix through the world of assisted technology. We want to target all low-vision/low hearing (deaf-blind) Georgia youth and adults, who are grossly under-served. The applicants must have dual sensory loss.

I invite you to come ask questions, provide feedback, and share potential clients, 7 years old and older. The event will be held on April 18th, from 1:00pm to 3:00p, right here on GCDHH’s campus (4151 Memorial Drive, Ste 103-B, Decatur, GA 30032). Please help us to get the word out that this Program readily awaits to serve those who are eligible, young and forever young. We service all Georgia counties. So, we strive to get all of Georgia iCanConnected!

Please RSVP by email by March 30th, if you can attend and if you would like to bring a guest. Please note in your responses if you will need the assistance of an ASL interpreter.

You are welcomed to join us at 12:00 for a light lunch before the meeting starts.
