November 20, 2024
November is National Diabetes Month!
Please join us for an important talk to learn more about the risk factors that contribute to Type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes impacts millions of Americans and most often develops in people over age 45, but more and more children, teens and young adults are also developing Prediabetes. Could it be you?
The talk will be hybrid (in person and on Zoom) and our distinguished guest presenter will be Jackie Ogden, CFCS with UGA Extension who will discuss the risk factors that increase Type 2 diabetes. Even delaying the onset of Type 2 diabetes is worthwhile because it maintains a person’s quality of life and saves money on medical costs!
