The 16th Annual Spring Fling is a unique community event that is held for our citizens with disabilities (regardless of age or type of disability), their families, and the general public, to gather together for an afternoon of FREE food, activities, live entertainment, and information on local disability related services and support, all provided at no cost to attendees.
The Spring Fling will be on Saturday, April 15, 2017, 12 pm – 3 pm, at Mary Ross Park, Downtown Brunswick, GA. We have had as many as 1500 attendees at our past several Spring Flings including hundreds of attendees with disabilities.
There is no other local community event that brings more people with disabilities together and provides more information from a variety of disability related service and support organizations. Approximately 50 volunteers will assist from a variety of sources.
People with disabilities and their families will see that they are not alone in the community. Those with and without disabilities will gain a greater appreciation for the diversity in our community and that people with disabilities enjoy being out and having a good time as much as anyone.
Our event is intended for local Brunswick and Glynn County residents, but we welcome everyone with and without disabilities from surrounding counties.
