April 30, 2024The Neurodiversity is Beautiful Adolescent Social Skills Group will begin meeting at LIFE in the new Makerspace on Tuesdays at 4:00pm starting on April 2nd. This group is for ages 13 - 17 and interested persons must register and have an in-person assessment with Heather prior to being enrolled in the group. Living Well in the Community (LWIC) is a ten-week workshop grounded in Independent Living philosophy that can help people set and achieve quality-of-life goals, while building skills to support health and wellness. Trained facilitators guide workshop participants through information, discussions, and activities.

The chat is held on the first and second Thursday of every month. The LIFE-line peer support group is open exclusively to LIFE consumers as a safe space to talk with other people with disabilities confidentially.
