Are you 60 or older and living with a chronic health condition?
LIFE, Inc. invites you to join our Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) being hosted by Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Savannah. CDSMP is a PROVEN, six-week interactive workshop designed by Stanford University and led by our trained, supportive staff.
💡 What you'll learn:
✅ Manage symptoms like fatigue, pain, and depression
✅ Build confidence to handle daily challenges
✅ Improve communication with healthcare providers, family, and friends
✅ Discover better breathing, healthy eating, and safe exercise
✅ Learn decision-making, problem-solving, and action-planning skills

🏃‍♂️ Appropriate exercise for strength & endurance
🥗 Healthy eating for energy and wellness

Whether you're blind, have low vision, use a wheelchair, have limited mobility, or simply want to feel more confident navigating everyday situations, this presentation offers practical strategies you can use in real life.

George Freeman of Katma Defense will share techniques designed to help individuals recognize potential safety concerns, reduce vulnerability, and respond with greater confidence. The presentation will include practical demonstrations, adaptive self-defense concepts, and time for questions.
