Head Start is a free education program for eligible children from birth to age 5. Head Start and Early Head Start programs provide learning and development services at no cost to qualifying families.

Early Head Start is a comprehensive early childhood program service low-income children from birth to 3years old and pregnant women. Its mission is to promote healthy prenatal outcomes, enhance development of very young children and promote healthy family functioning.

2) Improving child and family well-being through direct and indirect services, making use of resources and existing community programs; 3) Leveraging local, state and federal funds to support our community-driven plans; and
4) Implementing a community-based local decision-making process to develop a community plan supported by collaborative members. Since 1996, we have leveraged more than $23 million from local, state and federal funds to support our community plans.
