LIFE would like to invite you to visit our new assistive technology resource center. Tools for Second LIFE (TFSL) is a hands-on learning center for assessment, demonstration, education, information and assistance, and training of assistive technology available on the market today. Assistive Technology (AT) is any item or piece of equipment that is used to increase, maintain or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of life, including at school, at work, at home and in the community. Home Modification and Assistive Technology Program

Individuals may apply for assistance obtaining a home modification or assistive technology. Consideration is given to applications for wheelchair ramps, bathroom modifications, CCTV’s or any modification or assistive technology that increases accessibility and independence.
*Grants for the Home Modification/AT program are received from the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Association, National Fair Housing Association, and the United Way of the Coastal Empire.

Alternative Formats For Everyone
