June 11, 2024(2 events) 4:00 pm: Neurodiversity is Beautiful Adolescent Social Skills Group (private group) The Neurodiversity is Beautiful Adolescent Social Skills Group will begin meeting at LIFE in the new Makerspace on Tuesdays at 4:00pm starting on April 2nd. This group is for ages 13 - 17 and interested persons must register and have an in-person assessment with Heather prior to being enrolled in the group. This is a curated group, no walk-ins please.

4:00 pm: Neurodiversity Is Beautiful Social Peer Group Neurodiversity Is Beautiful Social Peer Group meets every Tuesday evening in person at LIFE, located at 4811 Waters Avenue in Savannah. This is not an open/drop-in group, you must register to participate. Empowering neurodiverse adults and young adults to develop a local support network of peer support. Weekly: April Cohort of LWIC Workshop series for registrants only. Please call the office to learn more and to register! 912-920-2414. Living Well in the Community (LWIC) is a ten-week workshop grounded in Independent Living philosophy that can help people set and achieve quality-of-life goals, while building skills to support health and wellness. Trained facilitators guide workshop participants through information, discussions, and activities. 1:00 pm: LIFE-Line Peer Support Chat Group In Person/Hybrid – You're invited to the LIFE-Line Peer Support Chat in person / hybrid (on Zoom also) on June 13th at 1:00pm at LIFE - 4811 Waters Avenue in the Medical Arts Shopping Center across from Memorial Health. The Zoom login will be provided to consumers upon request. Refreshments will be served for in-person participants. Our goal is to offer an in-person opportunity to meet at LIFE for every other LIFE-Line Peer Support chat meeting, but always check the invite and the calendar of events on lifecil.com. We hope to see you there! Did you know?... peer support can improve the sense of well-being for people with disabilities by expanding their support network and empowering them? It's true! The online chat group is a safe space for people with disabilities to talk openly and confidentially with others with disabilities. This is for people in LIFE's service counties only.
