    Are you a person with a disability living in one of LIFE's service counties*? Then please join us on the first and second Thursday of each month for the LIFE-Line Peer Support Chat

    Living with a disability can be challenging - but you’re not alone. This welcoming space is for people with disabilities in LIFE’s 20-county service area (including Screven and Savannah) to share, listen, and connect.
    When: First and Second Thursday of each month
    Where: On Zoom or in person at LIFE, Inc. – 4811 Waters Ave., Savannah (Medical Arts Center, next to Blitz45)

    LIFE-Line chats are safe, supportive, and exclusively for individuals with disabilities. We’d love for you to join us!

    Ready Together: Emergency Preparedness Day at LIFE

    Join LIFE for an engaging and informative community event focused on emergency preparedness for older adults, people with disabilities, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning how to stay safe and prepared during emergencies and severe weather events.

    This free, drop-in event will feature:

    • Emergency preparedness education and practical safety tips
    • Guest speaker and community resources
    • Demonstrations on how to build an emergency preparedness kit and Go Kit
    • Information tailored to a variety of access and support needs
    • Opportunities to ask questions and connect with local partners
    • A giveaway drawing for a completed emergency preparedness kit

    Whether you are just getting started or updating your emergency plans, this event is designed to provide simple, realistic steps to help you feel more confident and prepared.

    Come anytime during the event and participate at your own pace.

    Bring a project you're working on - art, crafts, writing, fiber arts, sketchbooks, or anything creative - and spend a few hours making things alongside other creative people.

    No lessons, no pressure, no experience required, just a welcoming space to make, relax, and connect.
